Day 01: Delhi – Haridwar

In the morning drive to Haridwar, sightseeing of Haridwar and drive to auspicious place Rishikesh – which is the Yoga capital of the world and gateway to the Himalayas. It is the home of various adventurous activities like White Water River rafting, trekking and hiking. Later visit Lakshman Jhula (450 feet long suspension bridge), Ram Jhula, Bharat temple, Swargashram temple, Geeta Bhawan temple and various other temples and Ashrams. Also take an excursion to Nilkantha Mahadev temple (12 KMS away from the town) – it is located at a height of approx 5000 feet). From here one can have a spectacular view of the area.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 02: Haridwar – Guptakashi

After breakfast drive to Guptakashi via Deoprayag, Srinagar and Rudraprayag. Guptakashi is famous for the ancient Vishwanath Temple and Ardhnarishwara Temple – both dedicated to Lord Shiva. ‘Gupta’ in Sanskrit means ‘hidden’. Guptakashi is also known for a holy tank, Manikarnik Kund. It is believed that two streams of the Ganges and Yamuna meet in this holy tank. Overnight stay at hotel / tourist bungalow.

 

Day 03: Guptakashi – Ukhimath – Deoriatal

After breakfast drive to Ukhimath – It is famous as the winter seat of Lord Kedarnath. Worship is performed at the Omkareshwar Temple here during winters, when the temple of Kedarnath remains closed. Trek top Deoriatal 8km. This delightful lake, to be found at the height of 2,438 meters, will arrest your attention by offering a splendid reflection of snow bound peaks in the lake water. The place is considered to be a perfect spot for angling and bird watching. Overnight in camp set up at Deoriatal.

 

Day 04: Deoriatal – Dogalbitta

Trek to Dogal-bitta through thick forest all the way ascending from 1500 to 2000 metres, 16 km trek. It is a high altitude alpine meadow with great views of the Himalayan ranges. Overnight in camp set up at Dogalbitta. Overnight in camp set up at Dogalbitta.

 

Day 05: Dogalbitta – Chopta

Trek to Chopta, 9 km on snowy slopes in winter months where base camp will be established. One of the most picturesque spots in the entire Garhwal region, Chopta provides a breathtaking view of the Himalayan ranges and the surrounding areas. Overnight in camp set up at Chopta

 

Day 06: Chopta – Tungnath – Chandrashilla – Chopta

After an early breakfast trek to Tungnath with packed lunch. Tungnath is situated at the height of 3680 mts from the sea level the highest in India. The trek is three kms upward. Enroute you will find lush green meadows and you can see the entire range of snow clapped Himalayas. Upon arrival at Tungnath Temple and visit the temple. After relax one further one kms trek to Chandrashila peak. Later trek back to Chopta. Overnight in camp set up at Chopta

 

Day 07: Chopta – Haridwar

In the morning after breakfast drive to Haridwar. Overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 08: Haridwar – Delhi

After breakfast visit Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi Temple. Later drive back to Delhi.
